Work description

Coca Cola is looking for 12th grade applicants for a warehouse Learnership program.

The purpose of this program is to equip students to understand and become familiar with the underlying principles of all major areas related to distribution within the wholesale and retail sector, enabling them to become more effective employees.

Responsibilities:

Includes but is not limited to:

Reading, writing and verbal communication in the distribution environment
Rational and irrational numbers and numerical systems.
Reception of stock at the wholesale or retail point of sale
Maintenance of stock balances
Safe delivery of stock to customers.
Legal requirement, organizational policies and procedures for the transport of goods
Administrative functions related to the receipt and delivery of stock
Stock packing in appropriately selected areas
stock pick
The financial impact of actions on the business.
Picking, packing and movement of stock to minimize damage
Stock flow through distribution center/warehouse
Recording of stock movement in the stock management system
inventory procedures
Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matrix with Math and Science
Advantageous: Diploma in Logistics Management will be an added advantage (Not required)
no experience necessary
