Party Plus is looking for a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic person to operate the cash register / cash register accurately and efficiently.
�
The candidate must ensure that all transactions go smoothly to help maximize customer satisfaction.
�
Includes responsibilities:
➡️ Transaction management
➡️ Product scan and accurate price guarantee
➡️ Collection of payments either in cash or with a debit card
➡️ Issue receipts when necessary. Be sure to keep a copy of all important receipts.
➡️ Cross-sell and introduce new products. Mention current sales / promotions.
➡️ Resolve customer complaints. Handle returns and exchanges.
➡️ Keep the area clean and tidy at the tillage point and surrounding areas.
➡️ Cleaning standards are required.
➡️ Get paid at the end of the day and report any discrepancies.
➡️ Work on weekends and holidays if necessary.
➡️ Answer the phone and answer the customers by phone.

Requirements:
➡️ Matric / Equivalent Certificate
➡️ 1-2 years of work experience as a retail cashier
➡️ Basic pc knowledge. Familiarity with electronic equipment. ie cash register; POS
➡️ Strong communication skills
➡️ Ability to work under pressure
➡️ Good customer service skills
➡️ Must have sober habits
➡️ Preferably reside in Kensington / Goodwood / surrounding areas.
