Work description:
The City of Cape Town invites suitably qualified unemployed young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who meet the relevant minimum requirements to apply for road traffic law enforcement training.
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 grade
Must be in good physical and medical shape
Must be able to work as a team and cope with stressful situations.
No criminal record
You must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
Students must successfully complete the Certificate of Continuing Education and Training: Road Traffic Law Enforcement and Law Enforcement Skills Program SP4 / 2012
Keep in mind:
All shortlisted candidates must take and pass the following mandatory aptitude test
2.4 km race (men 11 minutes and women 13 minutes)
Push-ups (30 in 60 seconds)
Sit-ups (30 in 60 seconds)

The candidates:
You will be asked to pass a written evaluation and an interview.
be required to pass a physical evaluation
You will be required to submit your fingerprints or identity numbers to verify criminal records. No other criminal authorizations will be accepted
be required to undergo a city medical evaluation
be required to submit to a mandatory drug test at a city testing site.
be required to pass a driving assessment
Candidates will be subject to the code of conduct of the Metropolitan Police Training Academy, as well as the approval requirements stipulated by the Academy and in accordance with the relevant unit standards
